My range of refraction images are achieved by photographing a combination of glass, water and sunlight. This results in the capturing of refraction and separation of light. The unpredictability of moving water and the angle of the sun creates bold and interesting results.

Born in the United Kingdom, Jo grew up in South Africa and immigrated to the United States in 1999. She left the corporate world a few years back and started exploring the fascinating world of photography. She is the co-author and author of Through Our Lenses and Illuminating Texas respectively, two self-published photography books. A third 130-page photography giftbook is planned to be published in the first half of 2013. This book explores and illustrates the properties of light and will focus almost exclusively on color. Jo has lived in southern United States for the past thirteen years and is now living in south-west Houston, Texas.
