Artist's Description

However beautiful animals and amphibians can be, they don't always pose for photographs which sometimes results in rather unsightly backgrounds. Liquifying the background has two purposes in that this process eliminates unsightly backgrounds and neutralizes detail, which puts all the focus on the subject.
